Smooth turning sealed ball bearings pivot on a shaft welded to ¼ stainless plates to provide a 1000 lb. capacity swivel measuring 7” x 7” and only 2-1/4” tall. Mounts with slotted bolt holes set at 5-1/2” centered. Made in the USA by the Amish for Amish patio and glider companies.

Unlike traditional swivels where sand and salt water spray will eventually cause the ball bearing mechanisms to fail, these chair swivels use a sealed ball bearing shaft that does not leave the bearings open and exposed to harsh coastal environments.

Available in standard 304 stainless or marine grade 316 stainless. These swivels are also being used in custom commercial furniture and store display racks as well as such things as wire spool racks. They are small and versatile with the ability to be mounted either horizontal or vertical.

The weight capacity was tested using a traditional 18” x 18” seat pattern with weight be applied to the middle and side to side. Wider bases extending outward will likely create more leverage on the pivot reducing the overall weight capacity.
